There were no shorts or gas. Transconductance measured 7440 micromhos for Tube One and 7400 for Tube Two. Plate current draw was 29. 5 and 30. 7 milliamps, respectively. (New EL84s typically test from the mid 20s to mid 30s with transconductance from 7000 micromhos.) These
